Way of St. Francis Trekking, From Florence to Assisi and Rome

The Way of St Francis is a month-long trail through the green heart of Italy from Florence to Assisi and then to Rome. At 550km, this is a long trek by any standards and explores the spine of mountains running through central Italy, the Apennines. Winding through Tuscany and Umbria before entering Vatican City, the pilgrimage visits major sites, villages, churches and towns famous for their connection to Italy`s patron saint.
