Ukrainian Carpathians: Gorgany North (Slavske – Perehinske)

The northern part of the Gorgany (Horhany) chain of the Carpathian Mountains in the Ukraine on a contoured and GPS compatible map at 1:50,000 from Kartografija in Kiev, with cartography of the country’™s topographic survey and an overprint for hiking trails. Coverage extends westwards from Perehinske and the Limnytsia River to the village of Slavske.The map has contours at 20m intervals and colouring to show forested areas. Names of towns, of larger villages and of most peaks are in both Cyrillic and Latin alphabet. An overprint highlights recommended hiking trails, including the course of the Skhidnokarpatskyi Tourist Route. Symbols mark locations with tourist accommodation, petrol stations, medical facilities and various places of interest, including several old churches. The map has latitude and longitude lines at intervals of 1’™.
