Thailand Reise Know-How
Thailand at 1:1,200,000 on an indexed, waterproof and tear-resistant road map with topographic and tourist information, published by Reise Know-How as part of their highly acclaimed World Mapping Project. The map is double-sided to provide the best balance between a good scale and a convenient size sheet and divides Thailand north/south with a good overlap between the sides; Bangkok is with the north, but the southern outskirts of the capital are also included on the southern side. The map also provides generous coverage of the adjoining regions of the bordering countries, indicating border crossings.Light altitude colouring with contours, peak heights and graphics for mangrove areas presents the country’s topography. Road network indicates toll motorways and distinguishes between principal roads in good or poor condition. Driving distances are marked on main routes. Railway lines and ferry routes are included and local airports are marked. The map also shows internal administrative divisions with names of the provinces. National parks and other protected areas are highlighted and a range of symbols mark various places of interest including UNESCO World Heritage sites, religious temples, beaches and diving sites, etc. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 1ยฐ.
