Sur les traces des Cathares, Le Chemin des Bonshommes GR 10 Topo Guide FFRP ref 1097 Hiking guide for the French Pyrenees with description of a multi-day hike of 220 km for 10 days hiking through the Cathar country from Foix, Ariege along Andorra to Berga ( Pyrenees France and Spain).French-speaking hiking guide. We include a concise French-Dutch glossary.The Foix in Berga, this route was used from the 11th century by the Cathars in exile, fleeing prison and death. Through the mountains, the passes, going from friendly house and precarious shelter, they reached the Catalan lands, towards Cerdanya or Berguedร . And following this path, you will take between 8 and 10 days from Foix to reach Berga.From the Pyrenean foothills, the path passes in front of Roquefixade and Montsรฉgur clinging to their rocky peaks. It then gains the border, which you will cross at the Col de Puymorens (1920m) before gently descending towards Spain. And altitude, in the national reserve of Orlu, the man is becoming rare and it is the wolf which took its place.
