Shit London
Shit London and its follow-up companion Shit London 2 by Patrick Dalton, subtitled “snapshots and even more snapshots of a city on the edge”, present photos of the capital as it is lived in: full of the humour its inhabitants add to everyday signs and notices, intended or accidental puns on signs reflecting London’s diverse population not always at ease with the peculiarities of the English language, questionable design choices and strange local newspaper headlines, in fact everything that makes life in a large so sometimes chaotic or tense metropolis that little bit more fun.Like the publishers’ Rude London, these two lively and lovely snapshots of the capital are a perfect presents both for the 23 millions visitors and the 8 million of us who live here and love (or hate) the city.
