Sentiers vers Saint Jacques via Le Puy: Figeac – Moissac & Rocamadour – La Romieu GR65/GR651/GR652
Of the four Voies Jacquaires, this “Route du Puy” is undoubtedly the best known. It is also the first to have been classified as a GRยฎ trail, as close as possible to historical reality. It is also the most endearing to explore, thanks to the wild beauty of some of its sections and the majesty of the great monuments of faith that mark it out.The hiker first crosses the upper Quercy, which is largely made up of causses: vast limestone and bare expanses where a few thin green chains compete with the rock gardens and lavender fields. The green Lot valley, bordered by the GRยฎ 651 and 652, unrolls its dark ribbon in lazy meanders crowned with poplars. On the GRยฎ 65, the landscape changes from Lalbenque. The white Quercy exudes Mediterranean scents. The slopes are covered with vines and orchards, or, towards the Agenais with fields of cereals.GRยฎ 65, GRยฎ 651, GRยฎ 652, GRยฎ 36, GRยฎ 46, GRยฎ 6524 km of GRยฎ trailsThe Chemin du PuyFigeac / Gourdon / Albi / Cahors / Agen / MoissacFormat: 21 x 13.5 cm160 pagesGasconyToulouse Region
