Osogovski National Park

Osogovo Mountains in north-eastern Macedonia near the Bulgarian border on detailed map at 1:60,000 from Trimaks, with route profiles of two recommended trails, plus on the reverse notes about the area and a road map of Macedonia. The map covers the area of the area of the Osogovski National Park on the Macedonian side of the mountains between Kocani and Kriva Palanka. All place names are in the Latin alphabet.Topography is shown by contours at 100m intervals with additional spot heights. The map shows local footpaths, and road network indicates recommended cycling routes. Symbols mark various tourist facilities including hotels and motels, restaurants, car parks and petrol stations, nature observation points, paragliding sites, etc. Small drawings show locations where examples of local fauna can be found, including wild boars, deer, eagles, etc. The map has latitude lines at 10’™ intervals. Two route profiles show recommended trails from Kriva Palanka and from Lesnovo.On the reverse are extensive notes about the area and its best sights, plus a road map of the whole of Macedonia for route planning and access to the park area.
