It is ideal to attract attention in an emergency and it is recommended by the Mountain Leader Training Board as an essential item to be carried in the hills.This is a tough lightweight aluminium alloy whistle capable of producing 100 decibels sounds.The international distress signal is 6 blasts of a whistle, one minute pause and repeated.
