Monts d`Arree et la presqu`ile de Crozon GR29
Although of modest altitude (384 m at Roc Trรฉvezel), the Monts d`Arrรฉe, land of Celtic legends, stand out against the Breton sky. Up there on his mountain, Saint Michael watches religiously over the silence and serenity of the place. To the north, there are the parish enclosures: the main monument is the Calvary, whose sculptures, typical of Breton art, were intended to establish a relationship between God and Death. As for the Crozon peninsula, a huge cross, it anchors the European continent to the Atlantic Ocean. The points of Dinan or Pen-Hir are among the most impressive natural sites. Between Argoat (the land) and Armor (the sea), through legendary places (Huelgoat forest, Sizun), museums, pardons or “festou noz” (night parties), the visitor will discover the various aspects of Breton heritage and cultural life.
