A-Z London Map & Walks at 1:8,629 (7.33 inches to 1 mile) from Geographers` A-Z Map Company, highlighting the Jubilee Walkway and the Princess Diana Memorial Walk, with a bus map of central London, plus on the reverse map extracts with more walks with detailed descriptions.The map uses the same basic cartography as A-Z’™s range of street atlases but emphasizes places of special importance to visitors: historic and cultural sites, shopping streets including important shops, etc. The map highlights the course of Diana, Princes of Wales Memorial Walk across the parks of central London, plus the Jubilee Walkway weaving its way across the West End and the City. Coverage extends from Kensington Palace to the Tower and the Design Museum, and from Regent’™s Park ‘“ St Pancras International station to Tate Britain and the Imperial War Museum.The map is accompanied by a panel showing bus connections, a diagram of the Underground network, lists of cinemas and theatres, an index of sights, plus information on bus and boat sightseeing tours. Street index is on the reverse side which also provides detailed descriptions on five walks across the most interesting areas of the capital: Westminster, City of London, British Museum ‘“ Inns of Court, the West End, plus a Riverside walk along both banks of the Thames. All are accompanied by detailed map extracts highlighting the route and include suggested camera viewpoints. Current edition of this title was published in 2010.
