Kythnos Anavasi 10.44
The Aegean island of Kythnos on a light, waterproof and tear-resistant, contoured and GPS compatible map at 1:31,000 from Anavasi with recommendations for nine hiking trails and descriptions of five most interesting sites. All place names are in both Greek and Latin alphabets.The island`s topography is shown by contours at 20m intervals, with relief shading and altitude colouring. Road network indicates dirt roads in poor condition and shows locations of petrol stations and driving distances on main roads. The map distinguishes between cart tracks and well defined, narrow or faint footpaths. Nine trails are highlighted and cross-referenced to a list giving their distance and approximate time. Symbols highlight various places of interest and facilities, including beaches, caves, archaeological remains, etc. The map has a 1km UTM grid plus latitude and longitude crosshairs at 1’. On the reverse, a smaller and simplified map of the island shows the road network and a selection of paths including the recommended routes, plus highlights five most interesting locations, each with a colour photo and a brief description.
