Guerrilla Trek – Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve

Guerrilla Trek (also known as the Shangri La Trek) and the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve west of the Dhaulagiri Massif presented by Nepa Maps at 1:150,000. The map covers the region from Beni and the Dhaulagiri peaks westwards and highlights the course of the Guerilla trek from Darbang to Sulihaur and other trails, as well as various locations connected with the country’™s political developments, including Radhijhula, the site of the beginning of ‘œPeople’™s War” in February 1996, and Chunbang (Bheridanda) where the Maoists decided in 2005 to end the conflict and join the coalition government. Other treks highlighted on this map include the trail from Moremi to the Dhaulagiri Base Camp and the Yarsagumba trail from Maikot northwards to Dunai. Contours are at 80 m intervals, with relief shading and vegetation colouring. Index lists places, peaks, passes and lakes. Margin ticks show latitude and longitude at intervals of 5’™.
