Current edition of this title was published in 2013.The Confraternity of St James is a non-denominational registered charity founded in 1983 to promote the pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostela and to foster research about them in Britain. In addition to publishing pocket guides to the routes it also runs two refuges for pilgrims (at Rabanal del Camino on the Camino Francรฉs and Miraz on the Camino del Norte) as well as provides assistance to elderly, frail or disable people who might otherwise be unable to undertake the pilgrimage.
