Editions du Briel publishes a collection of guides to the navigable canals and rivers in France. They are mainly intended for the boating fratenity but are also useful for cyclists and trekkers who wish to discover the French waterways. Each guide has about 100 pages with detailed maps and tourist and technical information in English, French and German. The contents are constantly updated; each guide being renewed on average every two years.In this guide we follow the River Saรดne from Corre to Lyons. The upper section called the Little Saรดne is one of France’s most popular tourist waterways. Downstream from Seurre, it is a wide lazy river offering interesting ports, good fishing and easy cruising conditions.To enable you to discover the surrounding countryside, all the tributaries (rivers and canals) leading into the Saรดne are included. For example, you can branch off onto the Canal du Centre and discover the Burgundy vineyards or climb up the beautiful Ouche valley on the Burgundy Canal.
