SE Somerset 1899 – 312 Coloured Edition

South East Somerset in 1899 in a series of reproductions of Ordnance Survey’™s famous “Inch to the Mile” maps published in the Alan Godfrey Editions to provide a historical record of England and Wales in the second half of 19th and early 20th century.The map, printed in colour, covers the area around Yeovil, IIlchester, Sherborne, Crewkerne and South Petherton. Other locations include: in SOMERSET Ashington, Barrington, Brympton, Chillington, Cilthorne Donner, Closworth, Corton Denham, Cricket St Thomas, Cudworth, Dinnington, Dowlish Wake, East Chinnock, East Coker, Hambridge, Hardington Mandeville, Haselbury Plucknett, High Odcombe, Isle Brewers, Kingsbury Episcopi, Kingstone, Limington, Lopen, Marston Magna, Martock, Merriott, Misterton, Montacute, Mudford, Northover, Pendomer, Puckington, Rimpton, Seavington St Mary, Seavington St Michael, Shepton Beauchamp, Stocklinch Ottersley, Stocklinch St Magdalen, Sutton Bingham, Swell, Tintinhull, West Coker, White Lackington, Winsham and Yeovilton; plus in DEVON Bradford Abbas, Cheddington, Chetnole, Corscombe, Halstock, Hermitage, Hillfield, Lillington, Long Burton, Melbury Bubb, Melbury Osmond, Melbury Sampford, Mosterton, Nether Compton, Over Compton, Poyntington, Ryme Intrinsea, Sandford Orcas, Seaborough, South Perrott, Thornford, Trent, West Chelborough and Yetminster.
