Western Australia Hema Road & 4WD Track Atlas A4 SPIRAL-BOUND

Western Australia Road and 4WD Tracks Atlas from Hema (3rd edition, 2015) in a B4 spiral-bound format, with additional more detailed mapping for the south-western region and of Perth and its environs, information on the state’™s top 25 national parks, etc. The main atlas section covers the whole stare at approx. 1:1,000,000, whilst its more populated south western corner (roughly between Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and the Nuytsland Nature Reserve along the southern coast) is also shown in greater detail at 1:250,000. Road network distinguishes between sealed and unsealed roads and indicates which routes have been surveyed and verified by the publishers’™ own team. Also marked are 4WD only tracks, with 50 best routes prominently highlighted. Road distances are marked on main and numerous minor routes. Railway lines are shown with stations and airports, airfields and airstrips are marked. Also shown are selected hiking trails, including the Cape to Cape and Bibbulmun Walking Tracks.A wide range of symbols indicate various facilities and places of interest, including supply points for different kinds of fuel, various types of accommodation (camping areas, caravan parks, bush camping, etc), roadside rest areas, information centres, etc. Where appropriate, the maps also have on them additional notes, warning tips, etc. from the publishers. Topography is indicated by names of mountain ranges, peaks, deserts, etc, plus graphics for sand rides, cliffs, rocky outcrops, swamps and salt lakes. The state’™s numerous national parks and other protected areas are prominently highlighted, as are Aboriginal lands and restricted entry areas. Important locations or road junctions are annotated with GPS waypoints and the maps have latitude and longitude crosshairs at 1ยฐ and 30’™ respectively.
