The Way of Saint James from Figeac to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port is a pocket sized pilgrimage guidebook adapted to hikers’™ needs, containing necessary information for both preparation and the walking. Wilfrid Alexandre, long familiar with the Ways of Saint James as both a pilgrim and a host (hospitalero), provides detailed routes, historical landmarks and practical advice. The guide is broken down into stages of the way and features colour photographs and generous note and log book pages for personal comments and memories to be recorded, as well as space to collect route stamps.
