Thailand: ThinkNet Regional Road Maps

Thailand on regional road maps from the Bangkok based ThinkNet, each combining the main map with several enlargements and/or street plans. All information is bilingual, shown in Thai and English.Road and rail networks are shown on a base with colouring indicating the countryโ€™s administrative provinces. The maps offer no topographic information beyond rivers and lakes. Road network does not give driving distances but does indicate locations of petrol stations. Each map has very extensive bilingual overprint highlighting not only various places of interest but also public buildings and/or facilities such as schools, medical centres, etc. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 30โ€™. Map legends are in English. No information is provided outside Thailandโ€™s borders. For more information, including lists of additional insets, please see descriptions of the individual titles.PLEASE NOTE: the maps use small, often difficult to see symbols to indicate locations of cities, with their names in tiny print, so that even well know places like Chiang Mai are not easy to find without good knowledge of Thailandโ€™s division into administrative provinces.
