Rocky Mountains Canada and US ITMB

Canadian Rocky Mountains on a double-sided, waterproof and tear-resistant map at 1:900,000 from the Vancouver-based ITMB, with altitude colouring to show the topography and marking for numerous places of interest, plus a street plan of central Calgary.The map is orientated with the north-west at the top and shows on one side the most visited part of the region, extending from Calgary and Red Deer in Alberta across the Banff and Jasper National Parks to Hope and Williams Lake in British Columbia, plus north/south from the US border to beyond Dawson Creek in BC. On the reverse is the northern part of the Rockies in British Columbia, from Dawson Creek and Terrence to the Yukon border, including the Alaska Highway and the Cassiar Highway.Topography of this mountainous region is shown by altitude colouring with bands in feet, plus graphics for glaciers and snowfields, Peak heights are given in metres. Rivers indicate waterfalls, rapids and dams. National and provincial parks are highlighted. Road network clearly shows road numbers and distinguishes between paved and gravel routes. Driving distances are given on main routes and locations of petrol stations and border crossings from USA are marked. The map includes railway lines and shows local airports/airfields.
