Oman & Yemen ITMB

Oman, Yemen and the UEA on an indexed, double-sided map at 1:1,400,000 from ITMB with city centre street plans of Muscat, Salalah, Sana’™a and Taizz, all highlighting various places of interest and/or facilities.On one side is a map of Oman with the United Arab Emirates, plus city centre street plans of Muscat and Salalah. On the reverse is Yemen with the plans of Sana’™a and Taizz. Both maps are at 1:1,400,000 and show the regions topography by elevation colouring and peak heights (both in feet), plus graphics for swamps and deserts, and names of various mountain ranges, etc. Road network includes desert trails and shows distances on main routes and locations of petrol stations. Internal administrative boundaries are shown with names of the provinces. The maps also indicate domestic airports, oil well, locations with tourist accommodation, beaches and snorkeling sites, various other places of interest, etc. All place names are in Latin alphabet only. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 1ยฐ intervals. Each country has a separate index.Street plans name principal streets and highlight location of tourist accommodation, various facilities and services, and placed of interest. Each side also includes a glossary of Arabic geographical terms.PLEASE NOTE: current edition of this title was published in 2012. Coverage of Oman and the UAE is also available from ITMB in a 2015 edition, also with street plans of central Muscat and Salalah, with on the reverse a map of Dubai.
