New York City – Midtown Red Maps

The Midtown section of Manhattan on a very detailed street plan from Red Maps in a handy concertina format, presenting each block with names of individual shops, restaurants, hotels, cultural institutions and entertainment venues, etc.The plan covers Manhattan from the bottom of the Central Park (59th Street) and 37th Street, and between Park Avenue and Eighth Avenue, with a separate panel extending the coverage along the Upper Madison Avenue further north to East 79th Street. Each block is divided into individual buildings and where appropriate shows names of shops, restaurants, hotels, etc, all colour-coded for easier identification. The plan also provides directions to important landmarks outside the area of this map, e.g. the Empire State Building or the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Subway stations and connections are very clearly indicated. On the reverse are thematic, colour-coded lists of various types of shops, hotels, restaurants and cafes, theatres and concert halls, museums, landmarks, etc.Red Maps also produce three other plans of Manhattan: most of the borough including Haarlem and more detailed maps of SoHo and Chelsea, plus a plan of Brooklyn. To see other street plans from Red Maps with similar presentation please click on the series link.
