MNTB Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS) Simulator Training, 2nd Edition

Candidates for ECDIS certification must complete approved education and training and meet the standards of competence specified in the STCW Code. Written in consultation with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), this book outlines the specifications required for the approval of a stand-alone ECDIS training course. It also includes a sample ECDIS Specimen Certificate and a copy of IMO performance standards for the use of simulators for training and assessment.
