La Alta Ruta de los Perdidos – Monte Perdido – Vignemale Editorial Alpina Hiking Circuit Map

La alta ruta de Los Perdidos hiking route, a circuit around the highest part of the Pyrenees on both sides of the border using sections of the GR10 in France, GR11 in Spain and the HRP ‘“ the Pyrenees High Route, highlighted on an excellent, clear map at 1:30,000 from Editorial Alpina with mountain refuges, campsites, etc.The map covers an area between Torla in Spain and Gรจdre, directly north of Gavarnie, in France. Contour lines are at 20m intervals, with additional relief shading and colouring for different types of vegetation. An overprint highlights the main route, indicating three alternative sections, plus climbs to the peaks of Monte Perdido and the Pique Longue of the Vignemale massif. Symbols prominently mark various accommodation options, both along the circuit and in the rest of the area covered by the map. Also marked are other walking paths, indicating where appropriate GR10, GR11 and the HRP, climbing sites, viewpoints, etc. The map has a 1-km UTM grid.
