English Riviera – Global Geopark

Known since Victorian times as the English Riviera, it obtained worldwide recognition when the four towns became the first urban European and Global Geopark and were admitted to the Global Geoparks Network, assisted by UNESCO,* in September 2007 as the English Riviera Global Geopark.
