Croatia – Slovenia Marco Polo Map

Most of Croatia and the whole of the Dalmatian coast at 1:300,000 on a large, double-sided map from Marco Polo Travel Publishing with special features to aid route planning, plus several street plans. Coverage includes the whole of Slovenia, central Croatia with Zagreb plus the country’™s Adriatic coast, and most of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro.A fold-out extension of the map cover gives at-a-glance overview of the whole area covered by the map with the adjoining regions, highlighting main places of interest and making it much easier to find various localities on the main map and/or plan a route. A set of seven peel-on/peel-off stickers, removable without damaging the map, is provided to make routes or locations more prominent when navigating.Cartography is from the renowned German publishers, MairDumont. Topography is shown by relief shading with spot heights and plenty of names of local mountain chains, peaks and passes, etc. Road network indicates motorway toll stations and services, % gradients on steep routes, seasonal closures, etc. Scenic routes are highlighted. Railway lines are included and on the Adriatic ferry routes are marked.The map highlights numerous places worth visiting, both picturesque towns, villages or cultural sights and natural features such as mountains, passes, caves, etc. In Montenegro names of larger towns are given both in Cyrillic and Latin alphabets. The map has no geographical coordinates. Multilingual map legend includes English. The index, in separate booklet attached to the map cover, list only locations within Slovenia and Croatia, plus provides information on traffic regulations and emergency numbers. Also included on the map are street plans of central Ljubljana, Rijeka, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Sarajevo.
