Bangkok Walks Street Plan
Street plan of Bangkok from the Thai publishers Thinknet combining an overview street map of the city’s central districts and seven panels with enlargements of the city’s most interesting areas highlighting shopping streets and naming important buildings and numeours facilities including hotels, restaurants and bars, etc.The overview map shows main and selected smaller streets, BTS and MRT routes with stops, and various places of interest, plus clearly indicates which seven areas are presented on the enlargements. The map is accompanied by a diagram of the public transport network.Seven separate panels at detailed scales around 1:4,000 present in great detail the city’s most visited areas: the historic Rattanakosin district further enlargements for the Chinatown (Yaowarat) and for Khaosan Road area, plus Sukhumvit Road, Silom Road, Sian-Ratch Damri area, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market. All the panels additionally show bus route numbers and name numerous individual buildings, businesses and institutions. Several locations are annotated with numbers cross-referenced to the accompanying colour photos. The plan of the Chatuchak Weekend Market indicates what goods are sold in each of its sections. Street names are in the Thai and Latin alphabet; names of businesses are in Thai and English, as is the map legend.
