Argentina Super Atlas (with Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and South-Eastern Brazil)

Road Atlas of Argentina from Zagier & Urruty in an A4 paperback format, with street plans of over 120 towns, enlargements of popular tourist areas, lists of hotels, campsites and other accommodation, plus additional mapping of Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and the southern tip of Brazil. The atlas concentrates on Argentina, covering the country province by province at scales ranging from 1:1,000,000 to 1:1,500,000 approx. The maps show the road network, including local tracks, with intermediate distances on most routes. Railway lines are shown with stations and local airfields are marked. Symbols highlight various places of interest. Topography is indicated by relief shading with main peaks and names of mountain ranges, etc. National parks and protected areas are highlighted. Each province has a separate index of localities, numerous street plans of its towns, a list of protected areas and information on its climate. Enlargements show environs of main cities and tourist destinations, including Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Salta, Bariloche and Ushuaia, plus areas such as the Los Glaciares National Park, Lanรญn and Nahuel Huapi National Parks, Peninsula Valdez, the Sierras of Cordoba, etc. Also included are 19 pages of lists with hotel recommendations, province by province, and a comprehensive distance table. The neighbouring countries are shown at less detailed scales than Argentina: Chile at 1:2,000,000/3,500,000, Paraguay at 1:1,250,000 and Uruguay at approx. 1:1.2,500,000. The southern tip of Brazil, south of Aracatuba, is covered at approx. 1:2.500,000. The maps are indexed and include plans showing road access to the capital or principal city, plus a street plan of its central area. None of the maps have geographical coordinates.
