Goats From A Small Island: Grabbing Mallorcan Life by the Horns

The third in a humorous travel series of six books about how to live the dream in a Mediterranean country. The author explores different local cultural themes in each title. `Goats from a Small Island` celebrates the centenary of the discovery of myotragus, a 3000 year-old extinct mousegoat peculiar to Malllorca and Menorca, which was discovered by British palaeontologist Dorothea Bate from the Natural History Museum in London. The little creature put the Baleares on the scientific map and so Anna visits those international scientists still passionate about it today. As with both previous titles, the third explores many different aspects of the islands culture, history and landscape. At the same time the book is all about enjoying simple pleasures and learning to take risks in pursuit of real happiness.
